Before commencing your application, please ensure you have the details of two people who can act as references (for a full-time course), one of which ideally should be from your school or college.  You will also be asked to confirm details of any qualifications you're currently taking (such as GCSEs) together with predicted grades.

To apply for part-time courses you will just need to confirm the course, campus, your contact details and payment method.

Please note that for higher education and degree programmes, students need to apply through UCAS.

Level 2 Certificate in Practical Animal Care Skills

This qualification has been developed in collaboration with industry, providers and Lantra. It develops practical skills, promotes sound working practices, and provides essential industry knowledge to help learners to progress into higher levels of learning or into sustainable employment in the land based sector.

This course will build upon the knowledge developed on the Award in practical animal care skills by including health checking and restraint for procedures as well as covering a wider range of species day to day feeding and accommodation maintenance needs.
