Before commencing your application, please ensure you have the details of two people who can act as references (for a full-time course), one of which ideally should be from your school or college.  You will also be asked to confirm details of any qualifications you're currently taking (such as GCSEs) together with predicted grades.

To apply for part-time courses you will just need to confirm the course, campus, your contact details and payment method.

This two day course is aimed at participants with some experience of looking after horses. Participants will be introduced to a range of equine topics which will give them a good understanding of horse welfare and husbandry practices.

All sessions are based practically, on the yard, with structured, safe, hands-on delivery by qualified experienced staff. You will also learn how to exercise horses on the lunge.

Entry Requirements:

Have some prior experience of handling or looking after horses.
Suitable footwear i.e. a sturdy pair of work boots, waterproof coat.
