Before commencing your application, please ensure you have the details of two people who can act as references (for a full-time course), one of which ideally should be from your school or college.  You will also be asked to confirm details of any qualifications you're currently taking (such as GCSEs) together with predicted grades.

To apply for part-time courses you will just need to confirm the course, campus, your contact details and payment method.

Please note that for higher education and degree programmes, students need to apply through UCAS.

This course should appeal to those keen amateurs who have completed the Level 2 course, professional gardeners or those looking for a career change. The qualification builds on the knowledge covered in the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Propagation and Development and offers a more detailed, scientific understanding of the principles of plant physiology and pathology. This is a primarily classroom based course, assessed by written examination, but there is the opportunity for practical work at key times during the year.
