Before commencing your application, please ensure you have the details of two people who can act as references (for a full-time course), one of which ideally should be from your school or college.  You will also be asked to confirm details of any qualifications you're currently taking (such as GCSEs) together with predicted grades.

To apply for part-time courses you will just need to confirm the course, campus, your contact details and payment method.

Please note that for higher education and degree programmes, students need to apply through UCAS.

This course should appeal to those keen amateurs who have completed the Level 2 course, professional gardeners or people looking for a career change.

Giving you a more in-depth scientific knowledge of gardening, surveying and design principles, as well as a holistic approach to landscaping, this course is mainly classroom based, building on the knowledge you gained at Level 2 and assessed with written examinations in February and June. It does however include opportunities for trips and practical work at key times during the year.

Animal Management Students Get Creative for Wildlife Trust Hedgehog Haven

Back in late April, to coincide with Hedgehog Awareness Week, our Animal Management department ran a competition, in partnership with the Kent Wildlife Trust, for our FE and HE students to produce a new design for the Trust’s ‘Best Garden for Hedgehogs’ award, sponsored by Kent Mammal Group.
