Thank you for considering Hadlow College.

Before commencing your application, please ensure you have the details of two people who can act as references (for a full-time course), one of which ideally should be from your school or college.  You will also be asked to confirm details of any qualifications you're currently taking (such as GCSEs) together with predicted grades.

To apply for part-time courses you will just need to confirm the course, campus, your contact details and payment method.

Please note that for higher education and degree programmes, students need to apply through UCAS.

Utility Arboriculture (UA2.1, UA2.2 and UA2.3)

Industry Short Courses

Utility Arboriculture (UA2.1 - Tree Species Recognition, Growth Characteristics and Associated Hazards, UA2.2 - Use of approved insulated tools and assisted felling & UA2.3 - Prune Trees Aerial).

These courses are for those employed in Utility Arboriculture who have a good level of fitness and stamina to handle the physical nature of the course. You must inform staff of any medical conditions before training starts. Following successful completion, attendees can go onto study other related forestry and arboriculture courses.

2 days training, plus 1/2 day assessment.

Entry Requirements:

Chainsaw & PPE required. This is available to hire at an additional cost of £80.00 approx. UA2.1: UA1 UA2.2: UA1, CS30 & CS31 UA2.3: UA1, CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39 & CS40.
