Higher Education
The Local Area

Surrounded by countryside and wildlife, if you're interested in the 'great outdoors' Hadlow College is the perfect place to study.

Experience the Picturesque Kent Countryside

Once your studies are over for the day, you may fancy venturing off campus and exploring some of the amazing Kent countryside.  Our Grove Farm accommodation complex is located close to a number of  public rights of way with lots of different habitats and species present.  Further afield you may want to visit some of the towns and cities for shopping, entertainment and that occasional meal out.  London is just 40 minutes away by train from Tonbridge station.

Tonbridge

Traditionally a market town, a lot of the town's shopping areas are located around the High Street, with an abundance of restaurants and coffee shops, as well as sports facilities run by the local council.

Maidstone

Maidstone is the county town of Kent and the centre of our agricultural 'Garden of England'.  Ranked in the top five shopping centres in the south east of England for shopping yields, it boasts more than one million square feet of retail floor space.  Much of this is contained in its two main shopping centres - Fremlin Walk and the Mall - however other areas include a multiplex cinema, nightclubs, restaurants and bars.

Royal Tunbridge Wells

A historic spa town, Royal Tunbridge Wells was a popular resort to the monarchy and received it's 'Royal' prefix in 1909.  Today, its shopping centre - Royal Victoria Place - comprises 29,414 sq m of retail space and it is home to a range of specialist boutique shops in the Pantiles and side streets.  With three railway stations, a bus station and located at the hub of a series of major roads, Royal Tunbridge Wells is an easy to reach and popular destination.
