It doesn’t matter what you are studying now, we have many options for you to choose from which include our rural and land-based courses and apprenticeships which will give you the skills multiple employability skills.
You can swap to a Level 3 course or T-Level which is the equivalent to A-Levels and will allow you to progress onto University afterwards (our Level 3 courses can take 1 – 2 years
What Courses do we have to offer?
Hadlow College offers a huge range of courses covering: Agriculture (livestock, arable, fruit and vegetables), Horticulture (glasshouse production, fruit and vegetables, viticulture, greenkeeping and ornamental production), Gardening, Agricultural Engineering, Aquaculture & Fisheries Management, Equine, Animal Management, Floristry and Land and Wildlife Management, to suit the needs of many different students.
All full-time courses include a significant amount of work experience that is carried out in a workplace developing the skills and knowledge related to the sector and provide excellent opportunities for the industry to raise the profiles of their sector.

What are Apprenticeships?
An apprenticeship is a real job that gives you a learning platform to train and develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours in your chosen profession. 20% of your contracted working hours will be spent in training and development, either with us at college, or even in your workplace. The remainder of your time will be spent applying and developing your skills and knowledge deeper in your workplace.
We offer apprenticeships in many sectors ranging from Crop Technician to Greenkeeping. You can take a look at the apprenticeships we have available here.
We want our students to get the most out of their education which is why we have invested in all of our commercial standard facilities, including our brand new state-of-the-art glasshouse, so you can have a true experience of the equipment that you may be using in their future careers. Also, our tutors have worked in the industry that they specialise in, so you will learn from the very best that also have multiple industry connections.
We also provide Higher Education courses for those looking to progress after their Further Education Course and offer residential options where you can live in.
