Hadlow College was recently recognised in the Fishing for Schools Champions’ Awards, held at the House of Commons on 15th November.
This year’s Kent County Show saw sweltering temperatures over the three days, which brought the sun-seeking visitors out in droves. As always, Hadlow College had a significant presence and profile as Livestock and Equine sponsors at the show, with the College being profiled on BBC Radio Kent on all three days and receiving television coverage on the Friday evening.

This year’s Lambing Weekend, our flagship event heralding the start of Spring, saw us welcome 13,000 visitors to our site at Faulkner’s Farm on the 11th and 12th March. Running for 25 years now, the event continues to expand, with this year featuring more exciting family activities and food stalls showcasing the best of our local produce than ever before
On the 15th June, our Extended Diploma in Fish Management Year 1 students organised a charity fishing match at Claygate Lakes, Marden, for the entire cohort of Further Education students from Fisheries: Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 (year 2), as part of their Angling Unit.
The Hadlow Group had a hugely successful three days at the Kent County Show this year. The main marquee had a countryside and sustainability theme, with a host of exciting stands and interactive activities on offer.
