BIGGA Conference to be Hosted by Hadlow College
On 19th November, Hadlow College will welcome professional greenkeepers and groundsmen from around the South-East for the annual British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association (BIGGA) regional conference.
This annual event, which is rarely held at a College or training provider, will offer delegates the opportunity to hear a range of experts speak on subjects as varied as “how to get the most from the Government” through to accident causation, effective golf course design and heathland management.
Organised by BIGGA, the UK’s leading professional association which works to enhance the professional reputation and wellbeing of golf greenkeepers and other sports turf professionals, it has approximately 6,000 members around the world. Delegates to this event will all live or work in the South-East region, one of five throughout the UK, and typical comprise Head Greenkeepers, Course Managers or Deputy Greenkeepers.
