City & Guilds Medal for Excellence
A former student of Hadlow College, Clare Kelly, has been awarded a City & Guilds Medal for Excellence in recognition of her outstanding performance in Level 3 in Floristry. Clare was awarded a Distinction overall for her grade at Hadlow and it was this assignment work that was submitted for the award. Clare will receive her medal and certificate in February 2013.
City & Guilds' Medals for Excellence is a global programme that has been running for over 100 years. It recognises the achievements of learners and lecturers/trainers in the UK and internationally who produce exceptional work, or overcome the odds to achieve their goals
Clare is invited to attend a glamorous Lion Awards ceremony on Wednesday 5 June 2013 at The Roundhouse, London where all of the medallists and their nominators will join together to celebrate their achievements.
Each medallist will automatically be shortlisted for the Lion Awards including the People's Choice Award, voted for by the public. The Lion Awards is a culmination of all of the annual Medals for Excellence competition.
City & Guilds will be launching a dedicated microsite showcasing each medal winner to help them gain support and votes for this award.
