Hadlow College enjoy success at the South of England Show.

The Hadlow College farm team spent 3 days at the South of England show and entered into a number of classes with the following results.

In the Holstein Classes:
Hadlow Astronomical Jeneva was placed 2nd in Heifer in milk
Hadlow Baxter Avril was places 2nd in Cow in-calf

In the Ayrshire Classes:
Seakin Oblique Rene was placed 3rd in Bulling Heifer
Richaven RB Rene won 1st place in Senior Cow in milk and then went onto win 1st place as Officially Milk Recorded Cow of Holstein or Ayrshire Breed

It was the 2nd time the College Farms have shown animals at the South of England show and represents an excellent result for Hadlow and the team – well done!

As well as the commercial farms, the agriculture and machinery department were out in force manning our main stand, which was placed 3rd in the overall agriculture trade stand exhibits.

The College stands were very busy throughout the event with enquiries from the public, who were also able to enjoy a variety of demonstrations including chainsaw carving by Alasdair Craig, a have a go at digger driving stand with members of the public testing their driving skills against the clock, and machinery from Burden Bros also on display.
