Hadlow College Peer Mentoring Scheme

Posted on 3rd April 2014 in General

We have recently launched a Peer Mentoring Scheme for the wellbeing of our students.

Peer mentors are current students who support other students who may be finding College a challenge, maybe they are struggling with assignments or need help organising their time or their lecture notes.  Or, maybe are just finding it hard to meet other students and get involved in College life.

Our Peer Mentors meet regularly with fellow students during college time and listen to any challenges they are facing.  Peer mentoring is a great addition to improve any CV and/or university application and an opportunity to meet new people and really make a difference to someone else.

Any current Hadlow college student can become a Mentor.  Mentors receive full training including a Handbook and a peer mentoring wristband.  If you are interested in becoming a Mentor or are a current student who feels that you would benefit from being assigned a Peer Mentor, please contact Emma Henry, the Peer Mentor Coordinator in Student Support Services, e-mail peermentoring@hadlow.ac.uk
