Hadlow Degree Students to Attend the London Produce Show
Four Hadlow College degree students have successfully applied to attend the brand-new London Produce Show, which takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London from 4th – 6th June.
Designed to raise awareness of the job opportunities available within the fresh produce sector and provide the opportunity for employers to meet the best graduates available, the event comprises networking opportunities, seminars and industry tours.
Within their applications, the successful students – Rosalind Fisher, BSc (Hons) Horticulture; Vincenzo Pugliese, BSc (Hons) International Agriculture, Kenny Raybould, BSc (Hons) Horticulture and Lorna Townsend, BSc (Hons) Horticulture – drew attention to their interests in food security and food production and expressed a desire to broaden their horizons, build relationships within the sector and meet industry experts.
Commenting on the strength of the applications from Hadlow College, a representative from the event congratulated them on their success and stated that it was obvious all three students had made significant effort in drafting their submission.
