Hadlow Lecturer elected onto the British Veterinary Nursing Association Council.

Posted on 13th October 2013 in Animal Management

Harry Bailey, a lecturer in Veterinary Nursing at Hadlow College, has recently been elected onto the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) Council.  Harry was elected by his BVNA Member peers and was formerly welcomed onto the Council at their AGM on 13th October 2013 at the 40th BVNA Annual Congress.

The BVNA council is entirely made up of elected veterinary nurses, who come from all parts of the country and, whilst they all have different experiences of veterinary nursing, the one thing they have in common is a desire to represent the veterinary nursing profession.  This is achieved by hard work, determination, and complete belief in what veterinary nursing can achieve.

As well as working at the College full-time since August 2011 and working towards his Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) course, Harry has continued to work in practice on Saturdays, both maintaining his vocational skills and  proving to be a positive role model to our students who aspire to be male and female veterinary nurses.
