Posted on 19th January 2015 in Sport & Outdoor Activities

Over the last few weeks our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport students and our Level 1 and 2 Public Services students have been assisting with the delivery of Physical Education lessons for pupils at the Hadlow Rural Community School (HRCS).

Our students visited the school each week to deliver football and rugby lessons for the School's Year 7 and 8 pupils.  Our thanks go students Ben Holder and Claire Hutton (Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport) for their efforts assisting with the delivery of the football skills lessons and Harry Thompson (Diploma in Public Services) and Jamie Yardley (Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport) for assisting with the rugby skills lessons.  These opportunities all help towards developing the teaching and coaching skills of our students, as well as providing the pupils with fun and varied lessons.

Our Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport and Outdoor Activities students have also been out and about delivering Physical Education lessons at Hadlow Primary School.

Visiting regularly over the past couple of months as part of their "PE and Care of Young Children" module, they completed their efforts with a fun gymnastics session for Year 3 pupils.  Thanks to both Iain and Claire Liddicoat (Hadlow Primary School) for providing our students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the development of their sporting careers.
