The Royal Greenwich Equestrian centre - delivering skills in partnership with Hadlow College

Brand new for 2013 ‘The Royal Greenwich Equestrian centre - delivering skills in partnership with Hadlow College’.  We are now offering Equestrian courses in south east London, our first Course Information evening was held last week and received a good turnout.

Developed in conjunction with The Royal Borough of Greenwich Council, Sport England and the British Equestrian Federation.  Facilities include Monarch stabling for 27 horses, indoor riding arena (20m x 60m), outdoor manege (20m x 40m), spa, Equa treadmill, swimming pool, horse walker and stocks, wash down area, farrier/treatment area and dedicated science lab.
With part-time courses starting in February 2013 and brand new degree programmes starting in September 2013 the site will soon be busy with students, volunteers and visiting schools.
The courses on offer at Greenwich from September 2013 are:

Level 1 Diploma in Land-Based Studies (Horse Care)
Level 2 Diploma in Horse Care
BSc (Hons) Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation

Students will also study towards:

BHS Certificate in Horse Knowledge and Care (Level 1)
BHS Certificate in Riding Horses (Level 2)
BHS Certificate in Riding Horses (Level 1)
BHS Certificate in Horse Care (Level 2)
Horse and Stable Care for Beginners

We are also looking for loan horses to provide training for our students and clients.  Our friendly qualified staff offer excellent standards of care and supervision.
