Are you ready to start a new year at Hadlow College? If it is your first year with us or you are a returning student, we are sharing some good habits to help all students ace this year at college.
Here are our five top new academic year resolutions:
- Create a good work-life balance
We understand that you may have many responsibilities outside of college and therefore it is important to keep a good balance. Make sure you make time to do the things you love and spend time with friends along with completing coursework.
- Get more sleep
We all know how important our sleep is even though we may forget sometimes. Make sure you are getting enough sleep, especially before a long day at college. Some tricks to make sure you are getting enough sleep include unwinding before bed, eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly.
- Ask for help
Don’t struggle on your own this year if you have a problem reach out to your fellow students who may be in the same boat as you or supportive lecturers who are there to help you with your studies. Also, don’t forget that our dedicated Counselling Services are there to support you.
- Get involved
Improve your college life at Hadlow College by getting involved with activities on campus, societies, and clubs. This will show you the great social aspect of college and help that work-life balance. Why not volunteer to become executive members of our Students Union.
- Keep healthy habits
Whether it is the way you study, the food you eat or how you get prepared for class, make sure you keep these habits up across the year. Good habits will in turn give you a good college experience and good outcomes.
How many of these resolutions can you keep? We hope you have a great journey with Hadlow College!
