We’re hosting an online event on 7th January for all things Higher Education make sure to visit! See events page for more details.
The deadline for all UCAS undergraduate courses is fast approaching, and applications have to be completed by the 26th January 2022. Universities and colleges do not have to consider applications received after the deadline, although you may still be considered if there are spaces remaining on the course after the on-time applications have been considered. We would recommend applying as soon as possible in order to gain a space on your preferred course.
You will need to ensure you have left enough time to complete your application before the deadline. After you have found the courses you wish to apply for, you will need to fill in your details, qualifications and course choices. You will also need to submit a personal statement demonstrating your desire to study the course and why you are a good fit. Finally, you will also have to include your reference and pay your application fee.
Higher Education courses have different entry requirements that are usually a mix of qualifications, subjects, and exam grades. It is a good idea to apply for a selection of courses with a mix of higher and lower entry requirements so that you have a backup option. When you search courses on UCAS, you should check the entry requirements so that you apply for courses that you have a good chance of getting a place on.
