Hadlow College has a proud heritage in the rural sector and is Kent’s only rural and land-based College. Offering residential accommodation, we take students from all walks of life and from a wide geographic reach.

Part of being a Higher Education student here at Hadlow, you will be taught by industry professionals - people who have already been where you aspire to be. We include a strong employability element in all our Degree programmes to give you the practical skills, as well as theoretical knowledge, making you ‘instantly commercial' when you leave.

Industry Standard Facilities

The College has excellent resources including a working beef farm (also links with local dairy farms), sheep unit, arable crops, glasshouses (brand new for 2022), fruit production, Broadview gardens, animal collection, fisheries lakes and hatchery and stables at Hadlow main site and Greenwich Equestrian Centre which also boasts an Equine therapy centre which is one of the few available in the Southeast.

Strong Links with Industry

In a competitive job market, it is not necessarily the classification of degree that is important; it is often more about the skills that you have gained whilst studying for it. Part of your rural university experience at Hadlow College is that, as a graduate, you will be taught by industry professionals - people who have already been where you aspire to be.

Smaller Class Sizes

As a degree student at Hadlow College, you will enjoy the friendly atmosphere of a rural campus university with the smaller class-sizes more common in colleges. Your experience will include individual one-to-one meetings with your personal tutor, who is there to advise you on any problems you may be having, as well as comprehensive additional learning support should you need it.

Hadlow College works in partnership with the University of Greenwich to offer Degree programmes at our main campus near Tonbridge, Kent. You can study for a Foundation (FdSc) or full honours (BA Hons or BSc Hons) degree in your chosen subject.

There are many benefits of studying for a degree with us. There is the helpful and friendly atmosphere, smaller class-sizes and the more personal experience that all contributes to the quality of our courses.

Flexible to Your Needs

We have structured our degrees so that, rather than spreading the teaching out over four or five days, it is condensed into less days. This means that, in addition to gaining a degree, you are also able to work part-time, giving you an income as well as relevant work experience.

Giving You Employability Skills

84% of our graduate’s progress into either employment or further study. We believe the key to this success is first-hand work experience. That is why all work placements are an integral part of the FdSc or BA or BSc programmes, equipping you with the skills you need for your future career.

Residential Living

We offer excellent accommodation for Higher Education students which are set at the heart of our charming rural Hadlow Campus. Your package includes full board, utility bills, 24-hour service (access day and night), pastoral support, daily cleaning and maintenance support, access to student zone, enrichment activities and facilities.

Cost effective option

Competitive fees mean the University Centre Hadlow is not just a convenient local option, but a cost effective on too!
