Hadlow College celebrated the “groundbreaking event” at Hadlow College with Wilmott Dixon for a new development project which will see student blocks refurbished and brand-new Motor Vehicle workshop ready for the September 2022 intake.
Working on the project with Wilmott Dixon, Chris Lydon, Interim Vice Principal Hadlow College said, "This motor vehicle workshop is going to represent the next chapter in Hadlow’s history as well as all the other exciting projects that are being rolled out."
“It’s a really exciting time for our Motor Vehicle curriculum and in the next 10 years we will see the change traditional to exclusively electric vehicle and perhaps hydrogen vehicle technology."
"We hope to be a shining example of best practise within the industry for our students. There’s so much growth opportunity and this is a really important project for us and it’s great to be working with Willmott Dixon."
Geoff Kempt commented, “The Hadlow College project is very unconventional, and required an open and collaborative approach from the outset to identify what the key priorities were. The team from NKC and WDC worked very closely in the early stages, to achieve this goal, and to unlock the tangible elements of the scheme. This hard work at the start, is now being realised on the ground, as the scheme is hitting all its targets and controlling all risks, much to everyone’s delight.’’
