BSC (HONS) IN EQUINE SPORT THERAPY AND REHABILITATION

Elouise Dubrow joined Hadlow College back in 2017 to start a career in the equine industry that has seen her go on to run her own business, become a journalist and much more.

Here she tells us about her memories of the College and the opportunities it provided her with.

Why did you choose Hadlow College?

The locality of the campus and the facilities.

What would you say were the best three things about studying at Hadlow College?

  • The availability of the different range of horses.
  • The facilities.
  • The opportunities for students (field trips).

If you studied for career purposes, how has Hadlow College helped your career?

My studies helped me qualify and run my own equine sports massage therapy business. From this I have gone on to become an equine journalist for an international equine magazine and gain further experience at an ex racehorse rehabilitation charity.

What do you do now? And what’s next for you?

I run my own business as an equine sports massage therapist, I am an equine journalist for an international equine magazine and I work as an administrator at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic. In the future I am looking to build on my equine career and gain new opportunities to benefit the equine community.

Would you recommend studying at the College and why?

Yes. The College is fantastic for the contacts they have in the industry, the field trips to gain new perspectives and the equipment you have access to for research.

What would be the piece of advice you would give to someone thinking of coming to college or specifically coming to Hadlow?

Embrace your studies, find your passion and seize as many opportunities as you can regardless of if you think you’ll be successful.
