The Clearing Process
Clearing is the process whereby we fill any places that are still left on our courses. It is managed by UCAS and you can apply through clearing once you have received your results in August. It provides another opportunity to secure your place at your desired college or university. Whether you do not get the results you expect, you have declined your offers or don't hold any, you have not applied, or you have simply changed your mind, there is still time to find the right higher education course for you.
On results day, if you are eligible, on the UCAS track tool you will see an ‘add clearing choice’ appear. Once you have checked course vacancies using the UCAS search tool, you should contact any universities or colleges about courses you may be interested in to find out which one will suit you best. Finally, once you have gone through your options and your application with the admissions team, they will give you permission to add a clearing choice to UCAS track.
You can give us a call on results day to secure your place using our clearing hotline 01322 629400, or email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information.
