Level 4 & 5 – Foundation Degrees (FdSc)
Foundation Degrees (FdSc) are equivalent to the first two years of a traditional university degree at Level 4 and Level 5. These degrees are carefully designed to blend practical workplace learning with academic study, providing you with the skills needed for specific careers.
- Who are they for? Foundation Degrees are ideal for students who want to gain valuable work experience alongside their studies, making them particularly suited for those who wish to work and study at the same time.
Level 6 – Top-Up Degrees
Top-Up Degrees are designed for graduates who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills, and convert their Foundation Degree (or similar qualification) into a full Bachelor’s Degree. With a year of full-time study, these top-ups enable you to enhance your qualifications and expand your career prospects.
- Why choose a Top-Up? If you’ve completed a Foundation Degree or similar qualification, a Top-Up allows you to achieve a full undergraduate degree and take your learning to the next level.
