This is a one-year, full time course consisting of a range of subjects that enable students to achieve a sound foundation in equine studies preparing them for employment or apprenticeships within the industry. The course offers students exceptional opportunity to gain hands on experience to develop their practical skills in horse husbandry and riding.
The course structure comprises a range of units designed to provide students with a sound understanding of the principals of horse care. There are mandatory units and a choice between two optional units. Duties on the College Yard, and work experience, are also both core to this qualification.
