Equine Management students at our Greenwich campus had the opportunity to experience a professional physio session carried out by Siobhan Hall, Equine and Canine Physiotherapist to aid them in the understanding of how to manage equine injuries and horses that are within rehabilitation.
Hadlow College have routine visits to ensure the good health for the horses on-site and on this occasion it was arranged that a group of the Equine Management Extended Diploma students would attend the appointment to experience a routine check-up as their current focus is on equine injuries and rehabilitation.
Current Equine Management student, Alana Somerset said, "I found this experience insightful, Siobhan worked sympathetically around the horses and was very knowledgeable with her explanations on techniques".
Amber Matthews, Equine Lecturer said, “Had the lovely treat of a Siobhan Hall Equine and Canine Physiotherapist, treating some of our horses today.”
She continued “My Level 3 ‘Managing Equine injuries and rehabilitation’ students were privileged to watch, learn and be inspired as they come to completing their course at Hadlow College and go to work, or continue studying, in the industry. Siobhan does great work and answered all questions beautifully!”
