The Hadlow College community came together for a day of celebrations last week (Wednesday 21 June), as it held its annual end of year presentation.
The event took place in the College’s Garden Design Studios and saw family, friends, staff and students basking in the glorious sunshine to acknowledge graduating students.
Chris Lydon, Vice Principal of Hadlow College, opened proceedings by welcoming students and their families, friends and relatives, before passing over to Assistant Principal, Dan Cotton to start the handing out of certificates.
Students received their certificates from Sarah Henwood, who is a Governor at the College.
Then a number of students were given extra recognition for their efforts, with the presentation of a series of special awards.
Upon the conclusion of the awards former Hadlow College student Kim Gallagher, talked to students about her career path and how in the future they can learn from both their successes and their failures.
Kim studied at Hadlow College 12 years ago, and then worked at the College. She now runs her own successful Feng Shui business and is This Morning’s Feng Shui expert.
Chris Lydon rounded off the event by wishing the students well for the future, saying: “This time of year is a chance to celebrate with the students as all their hard work has paid off. It is also a time slightly tinged with sadness as the students leave us and we wish them every success in their future careers and studies.”
